What will you do

Verifying the quality and performance of the products in addition to troubleshooting the rectification of any existing errors or defects. Analysing the product under various working conditions (based on predefined PM requirements) and confirming that the product delivers on the promise. Covering whole team delivery by automated test to automatically prove that acceptance criteria were met as well as updating the automated testing coverage for  existing parts of the product. One of the main team responsibilities is to deliver things on time, merged in VCS, covered by Unit tests, ITDB test, properly tested (e2e tests, perf. tests, ..), etc. in order to meet the both acceptance and inherent DoD (Definition Of Done) criteria.

What we expect from you

  • 0+ years (junior) / 3+ years (mid-level) / 5+ years (senior) of the Quality Assurance experience
  • Experience with writing automated test
  • Experience with test management tools (writing test cases / test suites)
  • Experience with different test types (functional testing, regression testing, load testing, etc.)
  • Python skills (whole automation test suite is based on Robot Framework / Python)
  • Interest in modern technologies (preferably Cloud technologies), open-source
  • VCS (preferably Git), Maven
  • Databases – Postgres / Oracle (at least basics)
  • Enjoy working in Agile environment
  • Fluent English

What will you be in charge of

  • Write well-designed automated test, maintainable / stable code base
  • Ensure sufficient test coverage (functional testing, regression testing, load testing, etc.) is done
  • Follow all rules defined by DoD (Definition of Done)
  • Always represent customer voice during whole development/deployment cycle
  • Create scaleable, automated solutions for our customer base
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Write tests for each new development delivery as well as write tests for existing code to ensure compatibility and stability (tests for existing code should be modified when old code is modified)
  • Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures or products
